We are very blessed at Saron to have many dedicated members willing to share their time and talents to better our church. These committee's and its members provide Saron with solid leadership making it possible to carry our our U.C.C. mission.
Consistory of Saron Church is made up of three elders responsible for the congregation's spiritual life, three deacons responsible for the stewardship of finances & property, the treasurer who oversees the financial security of the church, & the pastor.

Pastor Parish Relations Committee meets at least quarterly with the pastor to ensure a healthy relationship between the pastor and the congregation.

Cemetery Board is responsible for the maintenance of the cemetery and its funds.

Endowment Committee is responsible for congregational awareness and prudent investing of Saron's Endowment Funds.

Board of Christian Education/Sunday School - The Board of Christian Education is made up of 3 officers elected from the congregation, plus a Treasurer, who oversee Saron's Sunday School: Pre-K though grade 6. The B.C.E. purchases and distributes curriculum to teachers, trains and supports teachers, plans events and special programs of the Sunday School, and orients parents to the Sunday School program each year. Saron UCC abides by "Safe Sanctuary" policies in the best interest of our children and families. The B.C.E. also has primary responsibility for Vacation Bible School, a 4 -day program of games, songs, crafts and Bible stories (and fun!) for children ages 4 years old through 6th grade.

Offering Teams - Teams of 2 adults are assigned on a rotating basis to assist with counting offerings from Saron worship services. The team schedule is set for the next several months.

Trustees carry out repair and maintenance projects around the church building and grounds.

Musical groups at Saron include the Senior Choir, Junior Choir and the Saron Chimers -
Senior Choir - practice on Thursday at 7:00p.m. and sings the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month (plus holidays) September through May.
Junior Choir - for ages 4 and up practice on Sundays as needed during the 10:15am service, performing 3-4 times per year.
Saron Chimers - practice on Monday evenings leading up to performances, usually in early December and April.
Special Music at Saron - Soloists and small groups provide special music at worship services throughout the year. We are ALWAYS looking for new volunteers to share their talent vocally or instrumentally!
Prayer Shawl Ministry - The Shawl Ministry meets on the 1st Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m., at the Church House or Church Library. The Shawl Ministry shares devotions followed by a time of fellowship, knitting and crocheting. Members create prayer shawls which are blessed and then presented to Saron members at times of crisis or concern. Don't know how to knit or crochet? The ladies of Shawl Ministry will gladly teach you!
Men's Breakfast Club - All men of Saron are invited to attend a casual gathering on the 1st Monday of the month at 8:00 a.m. Coffee and donuts are served.
Worship Enhancement Team - The Worship Enhancement Team provides visual enrichment to our worship services, decorating the sanctuary according to themes and seasons, or preparing special themes for holiday worship services. Members also prepare the Communion elements for worship throughout the year. Recent activities of the Worship Enhancement Team include construction and presentation of our Live Nativity on Christmas Eve, and coordinating the decorations in our sanctuary for Christmas season.
Nursery - 2 volunteers are scheduled each week, at each worship service, to staff our nursery.
